Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid is one of the most dominant big men playing in the NBA. Spending his childhood in Cameroon, Embiid was raised by a father who worked as a soldier and a professional handball athlete and his mother was a housewife.
Since childhood, Embiid often spent time playing soccer and volleyball. In fact, he already dreams of becoming a professional volleyball athlete and plans to have a career in Europe. However, he discovered basketball and started pursuing it at the age of 15.
Joel Embiid was inspired by Hakeem Olajuwon's game. Like a tit for tat, his talent turned out to be monitored by Luc Mbah a Moute, who at that time was still playing in the NBA. Embiid received an invitation to attend training and became one of the most prominent children at that time.
